Who This Course Is For
Anyone willing to learn can take this course. You don’t need any experience, specialized vocabulary, or money to invest. Every concept is taught from scratch, and all the practice happens on a simulator, so real money is never at risk. Whether you’re new or have been trading for years, you’re in the right place.
Who Should Wait
Someone counting on trading to cover their immediate expenses should wait until that pressure is gone. Learning to trade happens over months and years, not days or weeks. Financial pressure shortens that timeline in the mind and nowhere else.
You won’t earn anything while you learn. By the end, what you’ll have is a skill, not a guarantee of income. Take care of your finances first, and come back when trading doesn’t have to pay the bills.
Who Should Never Trade
Someone with a gambling problem should set this course aside entirely. Markets offer fast outcomes at almost any hour to anyone with an account. That speed has the same draw as a casino with fewer limits, and no amount of education can change that.
Problem-gambling helplines exist in most countries and are free to call. When addiction is involved, be honest about what recovery means. No one would tell a recovering alcoholic to start drinking again once they feel in control. Some people should never trade, and knowing that is worth more than anything this course could teach.
Homework
Your first homework is to write a statement about why you want to take this course.
- Write a short statement, one page at most, laying out every reason you have for taking this course. Nobody’s reasons are the same, and none are wrong. Use your own words.
- Mark it with a date and keep it. Later during the orientation you’ll set up a journal, and this statement becomes its first entry.
- Read it back every once in a while, especially in the weeks that feel difficult or slow. Motivation fades over any long challenge, and reminding yourself why you’re here, in your own words, can help bring it back.
This statement is for you and nobody else. Don’t hesitate to go deep.
Validation checklist
Before you call the statement done, verify:
- Every reason in the statement is a true motivation, not just one you think sounds good.
- The statement fits on one page.
